It is a little bit of a walk to the center of Lourdes, which may be a slight drawback for some but for us it was nice since you are not in the middle of the tourist area. This is a medium class hotel, close to the cathedral and at walking distance from points of interest. I always have a room facing the gardens, as I enjoy the mountain view. We are delighted that so much of your stay with us met your expectations. However the room is very small. The bathroom had patio doors which opened (to a balcony over looking the road),bathroom also had hairdryer. Highly recommended. The lift is fantastically small which we only used to send the luggage up to the first floor. The Wi-Fi was up and down for two days and I had to demand that the air conditioning to our room be turned on as the air con at the hotel is set to only come on automatically when the outside temp rises above a certain level. On attempting rudimentary French, with assistance of Google Translator (a must), the receptionist, in perfect English, kindly put me out of my stuttering misery.
